The North Korean problem - an American perspective
C·A·P-Interview - 10.11.2003
"There needs to be a very credible force option on the table", says
Gordon Flake, "and at the same time there has to be an outlet for North Korea
to go". In the interview, the Executive Director of "The Maureen and
Mike Mansfield Foundation" judges the current crisis and proposes as a solution
the U.S., China, Russia, South Korea and Japan to speak with one voice of force.
"Europe to be honest", he says, "is not a player here".
